How worried about the Bird Flu are you?

I'm guessing that most here aren't too worried and I wasn't either until the other night when ABC news announced that all sporting events would probaby be CANCELLED to slow down the spread of virus. it went on to say that 2 million (worst case scenario would die) if it was a pandemic (whatever that it).
But for them to even be discussing cancelling all sporting events in the US makes me worry. :icon_conf

There is no big worry unless it mutates and becomes contagious with Humans then it could and probably would be the biggest news and tragedy to hit our lifetime. If you look back in history there have been flus that have killed hundreds of thousands of people when the population was nothing compared to today. The problem is the more of it there is around the more chance it can mutate or "take over" the nucleus of a currently contagious Human flu strain. Also the vacsine is not a cure it will just help stop you from dying if you get it quickly. Look online into the science of it. Its fascinating and very scary.

i worry about the bird flu as much as i worry about bigfoot when i go camping. its total hype by the media as far as threating our lives or being any kind of factor. if im not mistaiken the bird flu was a big news story in the 70's maybe earlier. nothing ever came of it ...
